The Wichita Falls City Council has issued a Shelter in Place Order through April 8th unless modified or rescinded.

The Arts Council (The Kemp Center for the Arts/The Forum)
The Arts Council will postpone the Cowboy True event until July 31st and August 1st. The Kemp and The Forum are closed to the public until at least April 8.
Backdoor Theatre has postponed all performances, rehearsals, and classes.
Downtown Wichita Falls Development
The April 2 After Hours Artwalk has been canceled.
The Kell House Museum
The Kell House will be closed for tours through April 8.
The Museum of Art at MSU Texas
All programs at the Wichita Falls Museum of Art have been canceled through March 31. The Museum will be closed Thursday and Friday, March 19-20 for Spring Break. After that, the Museum will remain open so visitors can view the galleries. Museum officials feel that the amount of space available still allows for social distancing.
The Museum of North Texas History
The Museum will be closed at least through through April 8.
Riverbend Nature Center
Riverbend will be temporarily closed to the public through at least April 8.
Wichita Falls Art Association
The Art Association Gallery is temporarily closed. The US National Championship Art Battle to be held on April 18th has been postponed.
Wichita Falls Ballet Theatre
Wichita Falls Ballet Theatre will be postponing the remainder of the 2019-20 season, including the Spring Tea, Afternoon with the Arts, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. A Midsummer Night’s Dream will be performed Friday, October 16.
Wichita Falls Public Library March Programs Canceled
All Library programs have been canceled until April.

Wichita Falls Symphony Orchestra is postponing the April 18, 2020 concert, Brilliantly Orchestrated, with guest pianist Andrey Ponochevny.
Wichita Falls Youth Symphony Orchestra
Wichita Falls Youth Symphony Orchestra has suspended in-person youth programming.
