WICHITA FALLS – The Wichita Falls Alliance for Arts and Culture (The Alliance) is delighted to announce the highly anticipated return of the Arts and Cultural Empowerment (ACE) Awards. The luncheon and awards ceremony, now in its second year, will take place on Wednesday, October 18.
The ACE Awards recognize outstanding individuals and organizations whose contributions have shaped the cultural landscape of Wichita Falls, making it a more vibrant and inspiring place to live. All forms of artistic endeavors, including visual arts, performing arts, culinary arts, and more, will be celebrated at this year’s ceremony, which will be held at the new Delta Hotels by Marriott Wichita Falls Convention Center near the MPEC.
“We are honored to hold the second annual ACE Awards at the new hotel and conference center at the MPEC,” said Ann Arnold-Ogden, Executive Director of the Alliance. “This venue represents the perfect alignment of our partnership with the city and highlights the role the arts play in tourism.”
Nominations for the ACE Awards will open on Friday, May 26 and can be submitted online at wichitafallsarts.org/ace-awards. Tickets will be on sale in September.

- Business Champion for the Arts
- The Maker Award
- Distinguished Artist of the Year
- Distinguished Cultural Organization
- Inclusion Advancement Award
- Margie J. Reese Innovation Award
- Mayor’s Choice Award
The Mayor’s Choice Award, selected by the current City of Wichita Falls mayor, will recognize an individual, group, organization, or business that has demonstrated remarkable and enduring contributions to the arts in the City of Wichita Falls.
