TEXOMA GIVES is a 16-hour day of giving that provides critical funding for our area nonprofits. Wichita Falls Area Community Foundation is partnering with area nonprofits to give thousands of donors from every community in a 24-county area of N. Texas and S. Oklahoma a chance to raise funds for local needs.

On September 7, we will be at the After Hours Art walk with laptops and tablets ready to help you contribute right on the spot! We will be there from 6:00 pm through 9:00 pm. Our TALL artists will be onsite painting another TxDot snowplow. Come give while watching live art!
Fun challenges we have set for September 7:
– WFAAC Board Member Sam Pak will cut his hair 1 inch for every $1,000 given to The Alliance! (up to 8 inches)
– Margie has challenged her children and their spouses to match an early gift of $150.00
– Vanessa has challenged each of our Teaching Artists to match her $25.00 contribution
What else are we doing for Texoma Gives?
– We’re sending a special email to everyone on our list who painted a fence post to encourage them to make a contribution — in honor of a “crazy Don’t Fence me In summer!”
– We will be on site at the After Hours Art Walk – on September 7th from 6:00 – 9:00 with laptops ready to take contributions on the spot – thanks to our TALL artists for lending a hand to paint a third snow plow during this time! Come out and give while watching the artists create.
Challenge your friends, office colleagues and even folks you haven’t talked to in a while – to match your gift – large or small – it all helps, and send them this link – just in case they are still wondering “what do you guys do anyway!”
