As we approach the annual Day of Giving in Wichita Falls, Texoma Gives, The Alliance is highlighting local artists who have been instrumental in transforming communities in and around Wichita Falls through arts and creativity.

Sierra Archer is a Teaching Artist and Muralist who has worked with The Alliance since 2019. Her journey with The Alliance began with intensive training from the Lincoln Center Education Teaching Artist Development Lab.
Since then, she has worked with children as an arts education instructor for summer camps at the Wichita Falls Public Library and All Hands Cultural Community Center and assisted with the Eastside Mural Project located at Beacon Lighthouse for the Blind. She was instrumental in installing the Harvey Dean Mural this summer in Vernon, TX.
A self-taught artist from Oklahoma City, Sierra likes to keep herself busy creating. From murals to crocheting, Sierra loves working with mediums. She is skilled in ink, fibers, pencil, chalk pastels, but her favorite medium is oil pastel.

Sierra is one of the thousands of talented creatives who live and work in the Wichita Falls area. Help The Alliance continue supporting the creative sector – and artists like Sierra – by donating through Texoma Gives.
