Community Engagement Manager

Brittney Cottingham serves as the Community Engagement Manager for the Wichita Falls Alliance for Arts and Culture, providing expertise in community relations, marketing, and communications gained from 8 years serving as a newsroom leader at a local television station. As the organization’s liaison to the organization’s community partners, Brittney manages media relationships, oversees the City of Wichita Falls Arts and Culture Grant Program, and supports the operational and fundraising efforts of The Alliance.

Wichita Falls has been her home for more than two decades. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Midwestern State University with a focus on journalism. Brittney also serves on several community boards and volunteer organizations, including the Junior League of Wichita Falls, Crime Stoppers of Wichita Falls, Child Advocates- CASA of Red River, and The Circuit.

Outside of the office, Brittney is a multi-media content creator with an expertise in audiobooks. She also enjoys exploring what new adventures downtown Wichita Falls has to offer.
