Family Day at the Museum of North Texas History – March 17
The Wichita Falls Alliance for Arts and Culture presents FREE Family Day at The Museum of North Texas History on March 17 in celebration of The Legends Project honoring Charlye Ola Farris. Ms. Farris holds the distinction of becoming the first African-American woman licensed to practice law in Texas, the first African-American attorney, male or female, in Wichita County, and the first African-American to serve as a judge in the South since Reconstruction.
Our Family Days are designed to celebrate the creative potential in all of us and offer opportunities for kids and their caregivers to create and connect with one another. Each program is unique, fun, and free – emphasizing history, imagination, and hands-on creativity.
After exploring the exhibition, families can engage in art-making at three activity stations. Guest artists from the community will share innovative projects they’ve created just for this exhibition.

Little Hearts Dance will dance to… YOU GUESSED IT!!! We Don’t Talk About Bruno because who isn’t obsessed with that song?
