It’s that time of year for ghosts and goblins to wander the streets searching for tricks and treats. Several arts and cultural organizations have events planned that are family-friendly or bring the fright!

Haunted Tours at the Kell House Museum
After dark tours of Historic Kell House Museum are not your typical haunted house. Stop by Friday, October 28 or Saturday, October 29 to hear the spooky tales! Buy tickets here.
- 6:00 p.m. – 9:45 p.m.
- Admission – $8 per person
- Tours start every 15 minutes.
- Total tour time: 45 minutes to an hour.
- Reservations are HIGHLY recommended, we cannot guarantee entry if you don’t have tickets in hand for the tour time of your arrival!
- Make sure you pick your preferred date AND time slot. Please be prompt.
- All tours will begin on time and it may not be possible to join a tour already in progress.

Not-So-Scary Halloween at River Bend!
River Bend Nature Center is having its 16th Annual Not-So-Scary Halloween this year on Friday, October 28th from 6-9 pm. There will be a costume contest starting at 7:30 pm, music, tasty food, cool games, fun crafts, candy, a Flashlight Fun Trail through the United Children’s Garden, and DJ Marcus “Maniac” McGee will be DJing throughout the night! The Ruby N. Priddy Butterfly and Nature Conservatory will also be open for you to enjoy.
So dress up in your favorite costume and come on out to Not-So-Scary on October 28th at River Bend Nature Center from 6 pm to 9 pm and join in on all the fun! Admission is $6 for adults, Kids are $3 and RBNC Members are free!

Downtown Trick or Treat
Come downtown for spook-tacular time trick or treating! Downtown businesses will be handing out candy from 1 pm – 3 pm (or until the candy runs out) on Saturday, October 29!
CrashWorks Makerspace and STEAM Studio, Museum of North Texas History, and the Wichita Theatre are among the participating locations passing out candy.
MoNTH will also have the Heart of Downtown Model Train Exhibit open! Museum staff does need volunteers to help with this event, if you’d like to sign up to volunteer, email director@museumofnorthtexashistory.org.

“The Rocky Horror Picture Show” at Backdoor Theatre
Ear Level Marketing & Backdoor Theatre are excited to bring back “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” movie screening! This year’s event will be on Saturday, October 29th – $20/ticket includes a prop bag. Costumes are always encouraged!

Falls Fest Trunk or Treat at All Hands Cultural Community Center
It’s a family-friendly event on Saturday, October 29, with food, prizes, games, Costume Contest, and the Best Trunk Contest at All Hands Cultural Community Center, located at 302 Tulsa St.

Halloween Fest 2022 at the Ray Clymer Exhibit Hall
Halloween theme event for all ages. Kids under 12 are free. Food truck will be provided by El Norteno On Wheels, along with a mechanical bull & bounce house. Plus a Car show, best costume prize of $100, Vendor booths, and live music by Blue Rock & Headlining Robert Rodriguez. The party runs from 10 am to 10 pm on Saturday, October 29.

The Halloween Happening
If you and the family want something different to do tonight, Archer County Museum and Arts Center is hosting The Halloween Happening! The Museum has joined forces with 11 other businesses around the square to provide craft stations on Halloween. Come for the crafts, sugar up at the First Responder’s Trunk or Treat, and stick around for a showing of Hocus Pocus at 8 pm!
