Senior Day

10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

In addition to docent-led tours of the exhibition, Senior Day will feature  baseball film screenings, and a lecture by Dr. Raymond Doswell, Vice-President of Curatorial Services at the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in Kansas City, MO. Dr. Doswell’s lecture will take place at 2 p.m.

Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Raymond Doswell grew up in East St. Louis, Illinois and holds a Master’s degree in History with an emphasis on Historic Resources Management and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Kansas State University. Dr. Doswell joined the staff of the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in Kansas City in 1995 as its first curator. Dr. Doswell travels extensively as a public speaker on topics of baseball and African American history. Now as museum Vice-President, he manages exhibitions, archives, and educational programs.

The exhibition and lecture are free.

The Negro Leagues Beisbol exhibition will be on view until March 13, 2020, at the Museum of North Texas History in downtown Wichita Falls.
