February 2017

The Wichita Falls Alliance for Arts and Culture, in cooperation with the African American Museum at Fair Park in Dallas, presented Sepia: A Legacy in Photography. The exhibition featured nearly 100 black and white photographs of noteworthy African American icons in American pop culture and editorial images from the Sepia Magazine Photographic Archive.
The Alliance transformed the Wichita Theater’s balcony into a stunning gallery space in order to display the collection. Residents turned out by the thousands to see the exhibition, which was on view in February and March 2017.
