The Wichita Falls Alliance for Arts and Culture, in partnership with Iowa Park High School and local art educator Audra Miller, announces a new student public art project. Students in the Iowa Park High School art program are leading the design and creation of a scaled mural that will be installed at the school. Students responded to a Request for Submissions and collaborated as teams to develop original designs. A selection committee reviewed submissions and chose the final design.

This project gives students hands-on experience with public art from concept to completion. We are grateful to Iowa Park High School and our partners for their support.
Once installed, the mural will be publicly visible and accessible to residents and visitors year-round.

The mural will be installed on a 6’x6′ wooden canvas that will be affixed to the wall.
