The Art Bike Exhibition combines engineering and artistic expression to create temporary public art installations each year celebrating the Hotter’N Hell Hundred.

Art Bikes were first commissioned in 2016, as a way to incorporate the arts into the grueling biking event. In 2017, Austin Bike Zoo added an inventive way to incorporate the arts into one of Wichita Falls’ signature events.

The bikes are displayed prior to the ride at Sikes Senter Mall before moving to the MPEC to welcome riders and visitors participating in the Hotter’N Hell Hundred.

The 2019 Art Bikes were designed by local artists Ferdine LeBlanc, Meagan Russel, Glory Hartsfield, Ernestina Toral, Audra Lambert, Simon Welch, Jesse Baggett, and the Wichita Falls Area Community Foundation.
