We’re excited to share the design for the new mural coming to the futsal and basketball courts at Bridwell Park! Created by artist Jeremy Jarvis, the mural is bursting with bold colors—pink, orange, turquoise, and deep navy—that reflect the energy and pride of the neighborhood. The final design was approved by city leaders and neighborhood residents serving on the artist selection committee.

Jeremy’s design was shaped by feedback from residents who wanted something bright, positive, and welcoming. As Jeremy says, “It embodies the feeling of belonging and the desire for a safe, beautiful, and uplifting space for everyone who steps onto the court.”

The Bridwell Park court mural is a celebration of that spirit and a sign of what’s to come as the park continues to grow. Work on the mural is expected to begin next week (weather permitting!) with more public art is planned for the pavilion and restroom later this year. While painting is in progress, the courts may be temporarily closed. We’ll do our best to keep one court open at all times so play can continue during the project.
