WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) — Art manifests itself in every aspect of life. It’s in the buildings where we live and work, the books we read, the movies and TV shows we enjoy, and the music we listen to. Sometimes, however, we find art in the little moments of life that lead us to our biggest adventures.

Jessica B. Johnson sees art in herself and others, leading her to become a teaching artist with the Boys and Girls Club. After years of teaching through the Boys and Girls Clubs of Wichita Falls, Wichita Falls ISD and Burkburnett ISD, Johnson has returned to where it all started as the new art director of the Eastside Boys and Girls Club on Rosewood.New Eastside Boys and Girls Club facility slated for spring opening

A former Rosewood club kid, Johnson spent her afternoons after school learning leadership skills from the branch director, Mr. Thomas, and making art.
