AmbeR Day Scott earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Midwestern State University 2001. She experiments with new formats to produce large scale temporary pieces of public art. Amber is a natural collaborator with a knack for bringing the public and the creative sector together to experiment with creative expression. She is an energetic member of the Wichita Falls Alliance for Arts and Culture’s Teaching Artist Learning Lab, providing arts classes for children in the community. She has been a resident artist at the Wichita Falls Public Library, the Kemp Center for the Arts and Southside Youth Senter. Her work has been exhibited at 9th Street Studios, Fain Fine Arts Gallery and the Kemp Center for the Arts.

Amber has worked in the public health and business sectors and brings administrative and managerial skills to support the marketing and public information functions of The Alliance. As a highly visible and active artist, Amber serves as a liaison to the artist community, manages the Artist Roster and encourages artists participation in local exhibitions and other learning programs offered by The Alliance.
