As part of the Regional Museum Network Exhibition: Sunsational Tales: Texas Summers Through Time, the Alliance hosted a FREE Family Day on Saturday, July 8.
Families gathered at the Museum of North Texas History to enjoy exciting hands-on art activities that capture the essence of summer’s past, present, and future. Family Day offered an exclusive annual exhibition tour showcasing the evolution of summer jobs, recreation, fashion, technology, and more. Nine area museums joined forces to bring forth diverse displays and interactive exhibits, ensuring an engaging experience for visitors of all ages.
In addition to the art activities, families hopped on one of the historical fire trucks from the Wichita Falls Fire & Police Museum and captured the moment with a photo. The Museum of North Texas History also had its Heart of Downtown Model Train Exhibit open for families to enjoy.
