Working with Vernon College, The Alliance installed a mural in the Chaparral Student Lounge at Vernon’s Century City Center location in Wichita Falls.

The “New Beginnings” mural is designed and painted by Lead Artist Meagan Le Blanc. Alliance Teaching Artist Sierra Archer assisted with the mural installation. Le Blanc named the mural “New Beginnings” to showcase how Vernon College graduates transition into the local workforce. The mural is part of Vernon College’s ongoing efforts to create an inviting, inspiring, and inclusive environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Using colors from the mural, the Alliance also installed a wayfinding system in the halls of Vernon College in Wichita Falls. The wayfinding signage was installed by Wichita Falls artists Anthony Campos and Meagan Le Blanc. The design was created by Ferdine Le Blanc, Art in Public Places Program Manager for The Alliance.
