Event Details
Erik Chandler is a singer/songwriter with over 30 years experience in the music industry, the multi-instrumentalist was a founding member of Grammy nominated Pop-Punk Veterans Bowling For Soup. After almost 25 years, Chandler parted ways with the band in 2019. With full intentions of taking some well deserved time for rest and reflection, it was not long before he began writing again, in search of a musical direction he left behind many years ago. Born and raised in Henrietta, Tx, the self proclaimed “small town misfit” spent the bulk of his career living in Denton, TX, Columbia, SC, and Dallas Tx. All the while, making his second home in the spotlight on stages all across the globe. Currently, Chandler resides in Chattanooga, TN in the foothills of Appalachia. After finally finding a permanent studio space of his own, he spent the majority of the “Covid Lockdown” defining, and refining a sound that feels true to himself. While recording songs from his new body of work, Erik took the time in the summer of 2022 to re-record an EP’s worth of previously released material from his 2016 Erik Chandler Band album THE TRUTH. Finally in the driver’s seat as producer and artist, the new recordings reveal a long time love of time honored recording techniques. Released in November ’22, The Naked Truth was conceived to make a distinction between himself and much of the major label, “copy and paste” ProTools slickness that is offered up today. While there are many electric instruments present, Chandler chose to forgo the use of electric guitars to keep in touch with the 18 months or so he spent using only his favorite Taylor acoustic. “It wasn’t done to be gimmicky, or to try to resurrect some sort of acoustic renaissance. I just found it a good way to present the songs in a new light. There is plenty of electricity on the record. Organ, mellotron, bass. It was just a way to bring these songs forward with me. Closer to the direction I’m headed now.” A full length album of new material, tentatively titled Haint Blues is slated for release later in 2023. With its own particular type of Americana, Chandler is eager to showcase his growth as a writer, artist, and producer. When asked to give a final word describing his new direction, Chandler defaults to friend and music critic Travis Randall (former contributor for SPIKE TV), ”It’s well rounded and honest. Sincere and Southern. You can tell it’s the music that he is happy to be making.”
Tickets for this show will be 7 online in advance and $10 the day of the show and at the door.

Sensory play stimulates your child’s five senses while engaging them in movement and balance. It plays an essential role in brain development, helping with cognitive skills as they come to build an understanding of objects, spaces, people and interactions!
CrashWorks is a creative, exploration playground, bringing together all of the STEAM components in an educational environment by way of primarily recycled, everyday materials. Unlike other creative studios in the area, we will focus on the process rather than the product, “fostering imagination, inspiration, curiosity, discovery and problem solving”, as our mission statement says.

MAD LIBS LIVE! is the new musical based on the most popular word game of all time!
Our story begins at the finals of Teen Superstars, the live TV show that will determine the most popular singing group at Blankville Central High. Virtuosa, Gogo, Geyser, and Merrily seem to have nothing in common – until just before airtime, when they realize that their songs are missing words!
In the spirit of the “World’s Greatest Word Game,” our gang fills in the blanks with words from the audience! This truly interactive musical changes at every performance – thanks to you! Will GoGo get the girl? Will Geyser make new friends? Will Merrily come out of her shell? Will Virtuosa get out of the spotlight? And who will be the next Teen Superstars??
