The Wichita Falls Alliance for Arts and Culture is excited to announce a not-to-be-missed event for families! As part of the Regional Museum Network Exhibition: Sunsational Tales: Texas Summers Through Time, the Alliance hosts a FREE Family Day on Saturday, July 8.
Families are invited to gather at the Museum of North Texas History to enjoy exciting hands-on art activities that capture the essence of summer’s past, present, and future.
Family Day will offer an exclusive tour of the annual exhibition that showcases the evolution of summer jobs, recreation, fashion, technology, and more. Nine area museums have joined forces to bring forth a diverse range of displays and interactive exhibits, ensuring an engaging experience for visitors of all ages.
In addition to the art activities, families will have the opportunity to hop on one of the historical fire trucks from the Wichita Falls Fire and Police Museum and capture the moment with a memorable photo.
Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to celebrate family and community while immersing yourselves in history and culture. Family Day will be held on Saturday, July 8, at the Museum of North Texas History. The fun starts at 10 am and will wrap up at 1 pm.
