The Wichita Falls Alliance for Arts and Culture, in partnership with the Central Wichita Falls Neighborhood Revitalization Committee, invites the public to a Community Day at Bridwell Park on Saturday, June 14 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event celebrates the installation of a new mural on the park’s futsal courts and offers residents a chance to meet the artist, Jeremy Jarvis, whose bold design was recently approved by a panel of neighborhood residents and city leaders.

Bridwell Park Community Day will feature:

• Music and family-friendly fun
• Inflatables and lawn games
• Hamburgers & Hot Dogs (free while supplies last)
• An interactive arts activity for all ages
• A chance to learn more about neighborhood revitalization plans underway

“The mural is part a much larger effort to bring new energy and pride to this part of our city,” said Ann Arnold-Ogden, Executive Director of the Alliance. “This is a way to say thank you to the residents who have helped shape the vision for Bridwell Park.”

The event is free and open to the public. Bridwell Park is located on Harrison Street in Wichita Falls.
