Local Students Experience Austin Bike Zoo - Wichita Falls Alliance for Arts and Culture

Hotter’N Hell is over for the year! This was an exciting year with new features, including the Austin Bike Zoo. We reached out to the Austin Bike Zoo several months ago to discuss bringing them to town for the ride and we were so excited that we were actually able to do it!

While here, they also made time to visit a local school. The group biked two butterflies and one eagle from downtown to Fain Elementary School to spend some time with the students. Students were able to ask the team questions as well as take the bikes outside to see exactly how they work! Click the photos for a better look!!

They also spent an afternoon at Fain Elementary visiting students.

The Austin Bike Zoo team was also able to meet a group of our TALL 2017 teaching artists. They had the chance to get a sneak peek of the butterflies and eagle. How fun!
