Carol Castro Ceramics, in business since 2003, offers custom, one-of-a-kind, wheel thrown, cake-decorated pottery to northern Texas and Oklahoma region as a roving vendor, and nationwide through www.carolcastro.net and ETSY.com. She is best known for her Texas-themed mosaics and products, such as the Texas Tree Mug and Texas Flags with Bluebonnets and Roses mosaics attached to benches, stepping-stones and wall art. Carol pipes clay through a pastry bag, calling her flower-laden wheel-thrown pots, tile, and jewelry "cake-decorated". She offers a complete line of earthenware jewelry including necklaces, earrings, bracelets, key chains, and more.

In addition to handmade products, Carol runs a mobile Paint Your Own pottery studio called the Pottery PopUp. This studio can be found in location public places like the farmer's markets, as well as private businesses as a feature event, private homes for private parties, and as a fundraiser or team builder at churches and non-profits. It offers ready-to-paint bisque items and includes glaze and firing.

Carol uses a bright, bold, color pallet and swears by the consistent results that can be achieved with commercial glazes. She teaches from her home studio and is pursuing a public studio in downtown Wichita Falls that will show case her complete line of skills and talents.
