“Everyone counts” is the message from the city of Wichita Falls and partner entities at the Census 2020 kickoff Tuesday afternoon.

Dozens of organizations have worked together for months to prepare for this year’s census, the United States’ official population count conducted once every 10 years as required by the Constitution.

Getting an accurate population count affects many things including seats in the House of Representatives and federal funding for nonprofits, school districts and infrastructure.
